And the Winner is……
The time has finally come to announce your 9th Annual Charity Paint Giveaway. This year we will be painting the warehouse front at The Mustard Seed Street Church’s new warehouse. As always it was a hard choice as so many wonderful people made nominations. Thank you to everyone that sent in a nomination and helped to make this another great year!
We are hoping to have the work done in March, so let’s hope for some good weather! I can’t wait to see the finished project how about you?
The Mustard Seed Street Church is a worthy charity that provides food to over 5,000 people per month with more than 50 volunteers that help keep things running. In 1975 The Mustard Seed started out as a church ministry that wanted to find a way to help their community. Since then, services offered through the Mustard Seed Street Church have grown. This includes the largest food bank on Vancouver Island, a Family Center that offers valuable training and resources for families in need, a Hospitality Program that offers meals, clothes and immediate service to those in need, and Hope Farm Healing Centre, a working farm and 12 bed recovery program for men recovering from substance misuse.
So what will this warehouse be used for? Check back for after pictures and a full story on the warehouse.
